Snack sized reality bites

The British Economy is being hollowed out and furred up - Enron had nothing on what New Labour has achieved.

The Countdown to the end.....

When the Euro hits the pan!

One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight Nine | Ten | Eleven | Twelve | Thirteen | Fourteen | Fifteen | Sixteen | Seventeen | Eighteen | Nineteen | Twenty | Twenty One | Twenty Two | Twenty Three........

(The bets are on that Italy will be the first to be forced out of the euro)

Jabba-John Prescott  Jabba and the huts - A peek into the future?

Coming soon to a Greenfield site near you. Jabba Prescott has an axe to grind and wants to sharpen it on the South. If we take a peek into the Nu-Lab future we see a new metropolis where the inhabitants live tightly packed in tiny little huts all made out of ticky tack.
As with battery hens in a caged environment they must be kept under close control and monitored 24/7. In childhood they are put onto a DNA database, and raised in state controlled baby farms. Once the 'Citizens' come of age they receive their citizenship ID Card and are only then allowed to drive and travel. They are then charged for the 'privilege' of driving and monitored by satellites and cameras everywhere they go. Police are able to arrest 'Citizens' for anything that might 'offend' and picking your nose gets you an Asbo and an on the spot fine. Drink is key to keeping the 'Citizens' happy, so the state sanctions binge drinking and learns quickly that as with speed cameras this can also be a money spinner in revenue from fines for being drunk in public.
The NHS is rationed and only available to those who are healthy and fat people and smokers are forced into back street health clinics. The only people who have pensions are civil servants and politicians and there is no longer a retirement age.
The state funded news
media has become another organ of government and being 'off-message' in public by a 'Citizen' is a crime. Everyone is classed as guilty until they can prove otherwise and the state can take the 'Citizens' assets without needing a reason or supplying any redress. Detention without trial and house arrest are a standard part of the judicial system.

Which of the above is a). True b). A Joke c). Coming Soon, or d). Already Here?

The regionalisation of BritainSustainability
'Sustainable development' has become one of the many buzz words in the bureaucrats vocabulary that are no longer 'fit for purpose'. To find out what they mean in the real world just click the links.

They steal UKIP's clothes but they don't fit

First it was our policy on immigration soon to be followed by flat tax. Now the Conservatives are playing catch up again following the UKIP theme of keeping politics local under the banner 'New Localism'. To top it off they are now in the process of stealing our 'Direct Democracy' policy and not even altering the name! The reality is they may be talking the UKIP talk, but they certainly won't or can't walk the UKIP walk on their leadership catwalk. If the first example of the Tory version of 'Direct Democracy' was to try and deny their members a choice in who should be their leader, then perhaps they should have a makeover and call it 'Indirect Dictatorship'? So for all of you who need a new wardrobe that won't make you look like the Emperor with a new line of clothes, come shopping at UKIP. The Tories have become even more like New Labour, a party with no members financed by those who can buy influence.

UKIP LOVE!

Iceland and Australia show the way

It might be cold up there and hot down under, but Iceland's and Australia's economies are doing very nicely thank you - Both countries are independent, outside of the EU, have low taxes, and have leaders who have substance over style.

The cost
Ever wondered how much it really costs us to be part of
