It has been a recipe for cronyism that has not served the people of Bournemouth well. The track record of the council has been abysmal. One only has to look at the fiascos of the surf reef and the Imax to understand how they have failed us. That can only start to change with a councillor from a new party with different and fresh ideas. Unlike the Greens and the other parties UKIP are the only party who are opposed to the ‘Navitus bay’ windfarm which is another white elephant in the making. UKIP have been rising steadily in the polls and we did really well on May 3rd.
